Facebook groups can be helpful places where people with a common interest can share ideas and experiences, and support each other.
There are already many Twitch Facebook groups but as you would expect, they are mainly filled with gamers.
I think that as musicians using Twitch, we have a different perspective from the gamers, and so the conversations need to be relevant to our specific issues.
Whilst there is obviously some common ground, I found that most of the topics raised by gamers don’t really apply to musicians, and vice versa.
So, I decided to make a new Facebook group just for musicians!
Musicians on Twitch, especially those just starting out or in their early stages of trying to grow, can benefit a lot from tapping into a peer network.
So if you play music on Twitch, please join this new group, and share your experiences to help others, and ask for ideas when you need help too.
